Guys Need Help! Ignition Problem

Hi Everyone.

I ve noticed for the last month or two, right when I start my car, without doing anything else my RPM arrow does not stay at 700 rpm's exactly, but jumps a little bit to 1.1 -1.3 rpms itslef when in parking or neutral position. Like someone invisible pushing the gas pedal just a bit. No ghosts in my car though, I've checked :-)

However, when I switch to reverse or drive, it gets to normal 700 rpms. Do you know what the problem is?

Plus, sometimes when I need to accelerate on the freeway just a little bit I push the pedal just a bit, but instead of imedeatelly accelerating, it waits a second and then swithes gear and only then accelerates. It would probably make anyone crazy!!!!

Please help anyone who can!
Answer will be appreciated!

Michael

hmm it might not be your ignition system, it might be something to do with your Valve Body in your transmission. Check your tranny fluid. The torque converter in your car gets fluid first if it's low on fluid it's going to take the fluid from somewhere else in the tranny thus causing the delay in acceleration. Is it throwing an codes? I would check tranny fluid remember to do it with the car running.

Thanx for an answer.

Well I've checked the fluid before and it was a little overfilled. I've pumped out some of it and now the level is jsut perfect. And guess what! I felt a little difference; however, it was for about 2 weeks, and now again I feel like my car is a lot havier. My spar pluggs are in good condition, air filter is new, well if you have any other ideas, please let me know.
