Help!! My 95 Max has a strange habit. Every now and then, it will just start running like a dog, and if I'm travelling at low speeds, it will stall. It then takes about 4-5 cranks to get the thing to start again but once it starts, it runs like nothing ever happened. I've tried telling the mechanic this but I can never reproduce the fault. I have tried changing fuel filters etc to no avail. I suspect it may be an electronic thing as it never does the same thing all the time IE tried running at different revs to see if I can replicate the fault but nada. It will even do it on occassion when I'm doing 100km/h down the freeway (never stalls, just loses power intermittantlyand generally runs rough) Has anyone else had this, or has any ideas, I'd be greatfull! I can deal with rebooting my PC every so often, but having to reboot my car is beginning to do my head in!

if it cuts out on you while driving and stuff it kinda sounds like a alternator. this same thing happened to me when i had my ****ty sentra.
