I doubt that this has noticeable gains. It only punches out the catalytic converter and replaces it with a pipe. Your car will just sound louder...maybe louder = faster? -.-

It's just a race pipe, doesn't add 9-12HP like they claim. I recommend not getting it. Harmful for the environment, and I've read if you go with an aftermarket it exhaust your car will sound terrible.

And since it's not getting rid of the harmful gases there will be yellow residue on your bumper that will not come off.

Budget Exhaust and Warpspeed, I believe have one of their own as well.

My friend¡¦s stock 96 Maxima GLE (Luxury Model) has dynoed on Dyno Jet after the installation of this straight pipe, his Maxima now averages about 211.29 HP @ the Crank (179.6 HP @ the Wheel + 15% 5-speed manual Power loss, 179.6 HP devided by 85% = 211.29 HP) AFTER this pipe. This same 96 Maxima GLE car has 193.12 HP @ the Crank (approximately 164.15 HP at the Wheel) BEFORE this pipe. That's about 18.29 HP in addition after this pipe!
Do these #s seem a little off or is it just me?
and what is the 5-speed manual Power loss?

It looks like a good straight pipe but I doubt it will add that much HP.
Plus no cat is bad for the enviroment (and illegal) so if ur state has emmission checks...

it only adds 1 maybe 2 hp. definitely not worth it. its bad for the environment, you wont pass smog check AND your car will sound a lot louder. so why would you do all that for just 1hp which you wont feel anyways?

yeah test pipe doesn't add nothing. it just makes your car little shakier inside. plus it will prolly trip the CEL. This one kid got in his SI and I think it even slowed him down.

I have one.

If you get it, get it from warpspeed or budget, or even from another ebay auction for cheaper.
Dont pay over $30

Diff people say diff stuff about gains, WHATEVER.... I have one because it was $20 and my cat was starting to get clogged anyways.

I also have one because, it has to make you faster no matter what.

HOW CAN IT MAKE YOU SLOWER????

"the back press....."
What? NO

it will give you 0 WHP. u get 1 if you are lucky. the picture you see is actually for 95-96, because the rear O2 sensor is on the cat. for 97-99 the rear O2 sensor is on the b-pipe.

punching out stock cat will kill tree and polute environment. there will not be any noticible HP gains. save your money and buy something else.
