it sounds like brakes rubbing - any ideas

Mine is starting to make that noise too. My friends are telling me it's my wheel bearing because it makes a slight jingle noise when I turn right also. My right axel boot is separated from the joint so I'm replacing that as well. But not sure if you have the same problem. Mine has got consistently worse over the past couple months...just got money now to totally replace everything on my car and do performance upgrades so I've kinda neglected it lately.

 

could be a couple of things. Check your brake pads to make sure they aren't worn. The other is to check the dust shield behind the rotors. Make sure it isn't touching.

 

if your CV boot is ripped then it may be your cv joint that has crap in it and is now worn out and needs to be replaced
