torque loss!

below 3k my car feels like a honda. barely any power. when i launch the rev hovers ~2k for a few seconds (yes that long) then starts to crawl up. after 3k the car surges like it has a turbo or something.

i recently went back to stock from a midpipe setup because i was experiencing the same torque loss andi cant stand it. there is a hose that habitually comes loose from the res. box (the upper hose coming from the tb area) but right now it is on tight and i've checked for vaccuum leaks, there is none.

any idea what the prob is?

Check your ECU for the knock sensor code.

I dont know what you can do about the ecu but Autozone will pull codes for you free.

the screw on my ecu kept twisting, i just used a cordless drill and kept turning it, then after a little while, turned it back, and it gave me a code.
