I'm doing the homemade AE headlights,but I need some help.What kind of paint do I use for it? What parts do I paint and not paint? Is there certain precautions I need? I've been to vqpower.com and read the directions,so I kinda know how to do it,but they're not that detailed.Has anyone ever done this and had a problem with them? Just let me know.Thanks.

Any black paint will do.

 

Just paint the headlight,or the side marker too? never had any problem with it afterwards?

 

It's up to you if you want to do the clearance light.. I really don't know what probs you can run into...I think the hardest part is gettign the headlight out of the car..

technicaly no mod to you headlight is illegal. make sure you try to use a high heat black paint. any kind will work. jst paint the parts where it looks like the lighs do not need to reflect. i would do the corner lights as well.

 

Legit doesn't mean legal or illegal. No not EVERY headlight mod is legal. I can put red bulbs in there, illegal, paint the outside black, illegal.
