are the intakes and exhausts i see on ebay for like $40-$60 any good or is it a waste of money?

 

Most of them are knockoffs of Place Racing or Injen etc.

I have bought a couple of them and they work great. Only problem is that most of them have a cheap filter and you have to replace that with a good one, that considered they are still much much cheaper than the real thing and do just as good a job.

Actually I preferred the EBay one I had to the Place Racing CAI because it was aluminum vs steel which is lighter and dissipates heat faster.

I have no idea about the exhausts.

 

Yes they are good, but beware, some kits on there don't come with half the right parts...

 

I bought my intake kit from ebay...but it came with an OBX filter...very sweet and under $75

 

I'm happy with my Bomz hybrid intake, got it for $40 shipped.

I don't know if I'd trust an exhuast though, it'd probably be cheap aluminized (rusts quickly) and non-mandrel bent (poor performance) for that price. I've also heard of people having fitment problems. If you mean the ebay mufflers, they'll be loud and give you little/no performance.

The only exhaust stuff I'd even consider off ebay is something with a name brand (cattmann, stillen, warpspeed, budget, OBX).
