I want to get my hood painted...cost?

I know this is a tough thing to give an estimate on, but I figure someone might have recently had this done. I just want to get my hood repainted, and a small bit of rust under the front lip of the hood repaired (about three inches long). I'm going to go around and get some estimates, but I was just wondering if you guys could give me an idea of what this should cost. The car is super black btw. Thanks.

that probably sounds about right. I think you ought to be able to get it done a little cheaper, but paintwork is one thing you don't always want the cheapest thing around.

Try to take the hood off when they paint it if you can, esp if it is on the undersid that needs attention. I mean, otherwise, you don't know what it will come out like, and the paint lines might not be too great. Just a suggestion
