Exhaust needs remedy

Ok guys, let's see what we can come up with here. Im a pretty crafty guy and usually do all my own work on my car butt I'm stumped on this one. Our exhaust pipes hang on the underside of our cars by the rubber hangers, which connect to the metal hooked rods. One of my entire metal rods snapped off leaving nothing connecting to the exhaust pipe. So now my exhaust is swaying back n forth & hitting the underside of the car and you can imagine how annoying it is. I have no access to a welder and cannot think of a way to secure it back in place. Keep in mind that the metal rod that was there broke off at the top and is totally gone now leaving nothing to play with.

Advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys!

costly: have muffler shop weld new bracket

maybe check autozone for something...

which hanger was it?

i would try putting those metal pipe straps with the screw that you turn to make them tighter over the other rubber hangers to keep them from stretching so much as to let your exaust hit... either that or get a muffler shop to fix the hanger, couldnt cost too much $

I bet a muffler shop would spot weld it for less than $10 and 10 minutes.
