what did you clean the intake manifold and the valve cover with?

the throttle body....i cleaned that with some mild acid cleaner (M95) that's used for like sinks and stuff......that what i had available at that time, but the manifold i took it to my school and stuck it into a ultra sonic tank for 30 min.......the tank heats up the soapy water to about 120, and if the temerature was any higher the intake manifold would get messed up, or so my teacher told me. But other then that it came out preaty dam clean.
