Stillen ram air

I just oreder a stillen ram air intake for my 1998 and i am thinking about installing it tommorw but i would like to know a link to find some idot proff instructions. I have another question too, does anyone have any kind of diagram on where the y-pipe is and the advatages of having a aftermarket one. The supplier at the place where i order my parts said that he could not image where one would be or why you would want to replace it and i REALLY want to prove him wrong. Thanks for the help

Well obviously the supplier you go to does not know anything about cars at all if he doesnt know where it would be or why you'd want to replace it.
That's the Y pipe. Tell him it connects to the headers and the cat.
That's the stock Y pipe.
Comparasin: If he cant tell why you'd want to replace that then tell him to get a new job. There is CLEARLY no restriction on the after market pipe and you'll get better flow and performance. Hope that helps you out.

intake instructions
There is some instructions on how to install the intake, it's very easy to do and that's as basic as it will get. Instructions on how to install stuff are in the "how to" section in the faq's for future reference, just so you dont get flamed about it.

You mean Short Ram correct?
If so it merly bolts onto the MAF with four bolts.
Ram air would be pulling air fromt the outside and pulling it directly into the MAF.
Kinda like a cai.
