Coolant Temperature Sensor

I have a new coolant temperature sensor on the way that will hopefully fix some of my starting problems. I was looking through the 4th gen howto sticky but only saw a link for the thermostat. Is that the same as the coolant temperature sensor? Thanks!

That's where the sensors are. One is for the gauge and the other is for the ecu.

I had to remove gauge sensor too to have comfortable access to ECTS, prepare for some coolant leak...

That's probably one of the easier things to do on a Maxima. Mine didn't even leak any coolant when I changed it.

Thanks for the help, I just got it changed. It took FOREVER to unscrew/screw it because I didn't remove that other sensor. I didn't have any coolant leaks though.

Hmmm. You must have used a wrench. Using a socket would have taken you about 5-10 minutes at most.
