Medium. They say it's like 20%, but I have a good feeling it's a lower percentage

All 5 windows, 35%... sunroof is not tinted. Sometimes I wish it were a little darker, but I'm overall happy with it.

In MD, I have 35% (legal) on my 99 SE-L. On the 01 AE had 20% before we were pulled over New Year's day 2003. We had to get it removed and inspected at the MD State Troopers barracks. Then we went and got 5% on it. Hey anything below 35% is illegal, 5% is no more illegal than 20%. No problems with the police.... Yet.

25% all around
While I wish it was darker sometimes, other times I am thankful for the visibility.

20% all around. During the day you can see a figure of the person inside. At night/rain, can't see through it at all.

tint on the windshield, IMO, is retarded. Unless you get it really light, how the hell can u see out of it?

The lower the % the darker it is. In Tx, the state law is 35% but i know others that have it lower.

In my car i have 35%, i'm going this weekend to get it double tinted(add a second layer).

Have you had any problems with UHP? Since the new laws went into effect this summer, they have been cracking down on illegal tint.

(Utah law is 50% on front, dark as you want in back as of July 2003)

I have 35% all around, with a 50% 'quantum' tint on the windshield. The windshield is worth it in my opinion, if you can find someone to do it. The 'quanum' tint is a light, reflective tint. I can see out just fine, but it significantly reduces glare and helps protect my dash and keep the car cool during the summer.

Hey guys.. question...

Does anyone know what the TINTING LIMIT is here in New Jersey? I heard that they are pretty strict. I was thinking of getting some tinting done on my max, but don't wanna be constantly pulled over by the cops. Thanks.

BTW, in North Carolina, the legal limit is 35. But do you know if they care if you have 35 in front and 20 in the back? That is my plan, if it works.

I have 35% in RI and I haven't had any problems with I wish I could have gone darker, but I didn't want to push it since we legally can't have any aftermarket tint in RI.

Thats the tint setup I've had on mine since June 2003. Haven't been stopped yet here in NC. I also have tan interior like yours which makes the tint seem quite a bit lighter. If I had to do it again, I'd just get 20% all around.

BTW, anyone know the law in Washington, and how strict they are? cause I'm moving to Seattle in April.
