Has anyone replaced their own rear O2 sensor?

Has anyone done this? How easy is it. I just changed my cat recently because I had a hole in my old cat. I have the Warpspeed metallic substrate cat. My CEL came on a day after the muffler shop installed the cat, now they want $30 to install it. Has anyone done this before, and is it easy to install? Also, is $80 a good price for an OEM rear O2 sensor at a local store? Thanks.

All you need is the right sized open ended wrench and you should be golden.

Would you happen to know the size by any chance?

If you are not comfortable using an open ended wrench, autozone and advanced auto loan out O2 sensor sockets for use, its quite easy if you use one of those. but the sensor is located in the b pipe RIGHT after the cat.. If you cant change it, I feel very sad for you, Its as easy as turning a wrench! And if you dont have a new sensor yet, www.buyoxygensensors.com has great prices

Bad news. I bought a Bosch #13242 rear O2 sensor for my '95 maxima from Adavance Auto Parts. Installatoin should have been a breeze, but the bud that inserts into the cat wouldn't fit. I called Napa and they carry the same one. I guess I'll have to go with oxygensensors.com. Advance Auto would have given me a 1 year warranty as opposed to oxygensensors.com.

I just looked at oxygensensors.com and realized that I have the wrong sensor. How's that possible? The auto parts place list the Bosch sensor as the rear O2 sensor.
