To whoever has replaced there starter...

Did you get it rebuilt? New at some auto parts store? or OEM? if OEM how much did you pay? If you got it at a auto store does it work good(I tried a autozone/discount starter once and that **** wouldn't work once it got hot)

And my rebuilt one just took a **** on me now... Life sucks..

Anyways, let me know how much you paid for the starter? not including labor i'll do it myself.

I paid $300 for a brand new High Torque starter. Don't know what brand though. Free labor

Autozone 140 dollar lifetime special. It's cake to replace so even if it's a cheap starter and dies every year it wont be any more money out of my pocket.

Yep. I did NAPA lifetime starter. It's just starting to hesitate. I hear if you put an auto starter on a 5 speed, they work better. If I can swing that, then I'll swap it next time for an auto starter. If not, I'll keep replacing mine under the warranty.

I'm about to change mine, going to buy it from advanced auto parts, comes with lifetime warranty about $150, a lot better than $245 Nissan is charging for it brand new.

on the Autozone starter. Mine works great and it was a whole lot cheaper than OEM.

When I first had the car, they misdiagnosed a starter problem...
I believe I paid $320 with $100 labor for the OEM starter, plus $81 for a "core charge"

Man...reminds me how much I hate that dealer
