OMG, your owners manual has this info. It's 4.25-4.5 Quarts. Do people even read their manual to check for this stuff? Half the questions asked on the forums these days is simple stuff mentioned in the Manual.

I'm the newbie? You've been a Member here for like 2 years and I'm guessing you had a max since then and you're asking how much you car has now? Have you been driving on the same oil for 2 years or was it just too hard for you before and you're trying to be a man now?

You better off just putting in 5.0 Qts, that would not be over fill.

why so much...just asking...cuz I thought if you put too much in, it will start to blow seals on the engine..or something like that

I put in 4 quarts every time I change my oil. Because of the way I jack my car up there is usually a little bit of oil left in there. The way to know for sure though is to empty out the old oil and then put the new plug and filter in place. Then let the car down so its sitting level like it should be and just fill it up until the dipstick reads where it should. That's what I did today. At 4 quarts it was exactly at the HIGH level on the dipstick.

This is my first oil change since I got my Max. I was told the oil changes itself on our cars in the past.

I thought I'd be a man now and take my car to the Jiffy Lube to get its oil changed.

have a nice day
