I converted my car and bought what I think is a 5 speed ecu but I keep getting this code 10/03 (park/neutral error). I though all the cells would be gone after installing a five speed ecu. Has anyone gotten this error before after converting their car. Or if you're a five speed owner. Have you gotten this code before. I just want to know if this code is a code that a 5 speed ecu would throw. Or maybe they sold me an auto ecu. I really appreciate all your help thanks in advance!! By the way I never got this code before the conversion and I don't have my auto ecu to see if it throws the same code.

 

I got that code until I wired my reverse lights. I dont know if you have or not on yours. I think the code youre referring to is the park/neutral position sensor, its on the bottom of teh tranny, sort of liek ablack plug.

 

I have already wired my reverse lights but I still get the code there is still two wires left on the manual tranny and I don't where those go do you? Also what black plug are you talking about. thanks for your help!! By the way did you get this code with the manual ecu or the auto ecu?

 

Any body have any other ideas on why it would throw this code? Thanks for your help in advance!!!
