the whole problem with pager alarm systems is the distance...the FCC limits them to about 1/2 a mile of distance...if you go into the mall for instance there is a good chance that it will not reach you. outside your house or a buddies it's all good...

I had the Hornet 554t, well acutally I still have it installed but with no brain. I paid 220 for the alarm, and 250 for install since I have a 5spd. Don't go with DEI, go with clifford or some other brand. My friend had the Viper 791XV installed in his suburban, and it got stolen.

bottom line: if you had an army guarding it and someone REALLY WANTS IT, they'll find a way...

alarm or not.

one of my friends had a nice chevy truck with a neon yellow fade to neon green paint, 23 spinners, 6 15's white leather the works, the guy is known around town for doing magic on cars because he works at a car stereo shop, anyways, he went to ATL for a car show and everyone figures with a truck thats neon colored it would stand out too much for someone to want to steal it. he wakes up one morning walks out to the balcony and his 2 alarm brains are sittin where his truck "was" parked. darn pro's up in ATL
