Should I clean the O2 sensors???

I got a budget Y-pipe. I have the stock y-pipe off, should I clean the O2 sensors? If so, what would I use to clean it. My car now has 90,000 miles on it and the O2 sensors are kinda black.

Any input would be helpful.

No. O2 sensors are very fragile, and brittle. Try not touch them.

Around a 100k miles, the O2s become a little slow sensing stuff. You don't to replace them until the CEL turns on for it, but if your O2s are slow then your gas mileage will suffer. I'm at 103k miles right now and I'll be replacing the O2s when I get a new y-pipe since I have terrible MPG

How's your gas mileage doing? I get 14-16 MPG so I'm planning on replacing mine. There is a O2 sensor group deal going on oxygensensors.com are the cheapest, but with the group deal they're giving 15% off so it'll more cheaper

I don't know what my gas mileage is anymore, I haven't driven it in over 3-4 months!!!

Do you think I should go ahead and replace them?

if you are going to be down there pretty soon "no!" u can save it for next time you are going to change the oil or if you are getting bad mileage "definitely".

The Y-pipe isn't even on the car, it's still up on jack stands.

I'm putting on the Budget Y-pipe, B&M sts, Cattman/progress FSTB, Cattman/progress RSB, ACT clutch, and an Injen intake, all at the same time.
