engine problem, HELP!

my 95 MAX, 180K now, works ok since last Aug while I bought it.
But last week, trouble comes. First, it goes no power and when I release the gas pedal, engine shut down by itself. after I re-start it, it seem nomal. it is the first time like that. it happened 2-3 times like that. After 2 days, when i was stopping at a red light, when i go, the car seems something hold it to go. when i try to push pedal more, the CV sharft was cut!!
after it was replaced. the engine still sometimes shut down while at traffic light. I feel there's no gas to the engine. It usually happen at a traffic light. especially arround from idel to 2000rpm. I had checked the strainer of fule pump, it's ok. and i have new fule filter at last Sep.
Dealer checked it and said it had KS and weared out ignition.
I had no idea about that.
thanks guys!

try pulling some codes from your ecu. you might have a bad coil. the KS doesnt make your car turn off, but it will make your car stall at low rpm sometimes. do you use 91+ gas? clean your throttle body and fuel injectors! oh and you might have a bad 02 sensor. these are all possibilities.....but for sure clean your throttle body and fuel injectors if you have never done so. gl
