is there an altima.org?????

someone sold me an altima keyless remote on ebay and told me it was for a maxima (couldnt tell in the pic it was too dark - i trusted a crook) - so im reselling it on ebay as an altima remote (which it truly is) - someone emailed me asking how to program the remote - and id like to see if its the same as maxima or different so i can let the buyer know - thank you

straight from my 1999 Service Manual...

1)close all doors and locks

2)Insert and remove the key from ignition cylinder more than 6 times within 10 seconds (hazard warning will then flash) at this time all original id codes are wiped

3)Turn ignition switch to ACC position

4)Flash any button on the new remote control ONCE (hazard lamps will then flash) at this time, new ID code is entered

Do you want to enter any additional codes? (Max of 4)

YES: Release the door lock, then lock again with door lock/unlock switch (in power window main switch) Then Repeat step 4

NO: Unlock driver side door and open driver side door (END) Check operation of remotes
