when costing, or just rolling i get a banging /clicking noise from the front, what can this be, what are the symptoms of wheel bearings, strut bearings, or can this be something major like tranny. I had a noise a few weeks back but it went away now i have this loud noise.

 

how many miles do you have? need more detail. hard to diagnose it. do you hear it more than once? like.. its ticking in a certain fashion.. like.. tick tick tick while your coasting.. or like.. tick.. once in awhile?

 

strut bearing and cv boots are popping/cracking/clicking noises from the front of the car. BUT you only hear they when turning, not going straight or cruising down the street. i think someone else had this problem and someone said it was his timing chain and/or cover.
