Hey guys, just bought a '99 SE 5-speed, and I've noticed my shifter is at what I would describe as a strange angle. It seems tilted too far to the right. Even in 1st gear, it seems to just be vertical, so when I look down, it looks like it would be in 3rd. It's somewhat disconcerting. Can I adjust the angle of the shifter to make it vertical when it's in 3rd/4th? If so, how hard is this to adjust?

Bend it

I'm not aware of any provision for adjustment. If the angle really bothers you, just bend the stick. I think an electrician's conduit bender (commonly called a "hickey") would do the job.
