I was wondering if the 2000+ max brakes are better than my 97 brakes. Would it be a good idea to go with 5th gen calipers, and say stillen pads and rotors?

5th gen OEM calipers will cost you aleast $300. The Stillen rotors would be $200. The improvement will be unnoticeable. You can just spent alittle more and get the fastbrake kit. If not, just get some aftermarket pads.

 

the 2k rotors are noticibly thicker then the 4th gen. Supposely those Stillen rotors are for the 4th gen, they say itll fit the 5th, which it should, but isnt recommended, it could be unsafe to do.

 

what is this fastbrakes kit? Also, i might be able to get the 5th gen calipers from a wrecked one.
