The day came that I had to take my Max in to get her repaired ( rear main seal leaking), Took her in and they called me about mid day, and told me it wasnt my rear main seal leaking, it was my front transmition seal, it had blown out, and some metal or a bearing some metal was lodged in part of the transmition (which explains why I would hear a grinding kind of sound comming out of first gear), and the transmition seal was leaking out oil all over my new clutch I had put in about 2 months ago, so it was ruined so after going back to the dealership and see my Max on the heist and the Y-pipe dangling, transmition out, and clutch out, I saw the problems and I need a new transmition and a new clutch.

They off the top of their head quotes my $2K - $3 most likely around the $2 area, has anyone had to get such work done, Or who was had to put a new tranny put in their max? how much did it cost?

I know there trying to over charge cause they were saying a clutch job is about $800, $200-$300 for the part, then $500 for labour? that doesnt sound right.

I'm pretty sure I'll have to get my max back and take her somewhere else cause I know that price is too high.

Any advice or prices on someone has gottena new tranny put in or clutch or both.

It feels soo weird to be without the Max, its only been a day but I'm hurting. . .
