exhaust problem.....need help ASAP

Hey guys,
As some of you know the hangers that were welded to the cat are now gone hence "were welded". They rotted off a little bit after i bought the car. So now i am relying on the strength of the y-pipe and the rear exhaust bracket. Also my muffler hanger arms are rotting off the car too. So my question is; should i replace the y-pipe and the muffler and have a shop custom make hangers for my cat, or replace the cat and muffler and do the y-pipe later? Also how much would either of these options cost whther i did it at a shop or installed what i could on my own and then go to a shop for the custom work? Any info is much appreciated.
