Well I am not going to argue with you but Budget does NOT make anything but Stainless Steel pipe and have not made an aluminized pipe in over 2 years.
The flanges are mild steel because of warping etc but piping is all T-304 Stainless Steel.

what material is this test pipe? whatever it is, is the same exact material my y-pipe was, i got them at the same time from budget and this is the test pipe i bought from them and got at the same time as the y.
You can't tell what its made out of by looking at it. SS does not come polished it looks a lot like regular mild steel unless you really know what you are looking at. If its uncoated you can usually see the grade printed on it as well.
Use a magnet, that will tell you if its SS or not. A magnet will not stick to SS unless its a very low grade with more carbon steel in it.

T-304 is produced to ASTM standards the composition etc cannot be compromised or it will not be passed and stamped by them.

Recently I inquired about the Canadian-US currency conversion and was told that $250 Canadian translates to $200 US, not $185.
