ideally ..i want a 350z tip... that would be perfect.. but that tip isnt a removeable sleeve like our tips..its welded.so im looking for soemthing that looks the same.. kinda short no more than 5.5 inches long.. 3.5- 4 inches for the opening... i dont want a long suv looking tip that sticks out past the bumper..looks cheesy..

thanks for the link..those apc tips are even cheaper than the magnaflow ones price wise.

I like # 35136.

The Magnaflow tips are not cheap, but you can always go to your local Pepboys, Autozone, etc. and pick up a generic one (Pilot, APC, 3A Racing) for about $20.

this is how i want it to look..

these are 20 bucks.. 20-25..

ones at pepboys are all SUV ones that are long as hell... our stock tip is only about 2.5 iches wide by 4 inches long.. both of these are 5.25 or 4.5 .. looks better than a generic one found at pepboys..

the stock tip looks sweet..see how it looks like the stock maxima tip.. just bigger..

There's no such thing as a good tip. Good based on what? If you're getting only a tip, why pay the price of a magnaflow if you can get one cheaper at a local exhaust shop or ebay?

IMO:

single tip = JDM style
dual tip = DTM style

i have Magnaflow Muffler Street Series #14829 single tip. it adds a nice rear finish on my exhaust sytem as well as nice growl with my intake and y-pipe. i like it.

If you can spend the extra $, go with a double wall tip, they look better when light is shining into them.
Also I don't know if rusting is a problem at all with those, but double wall will surely last longer than a cut, single wall one.
