i just recently bought my max and it came from cali. with a 16% tint on the back two windows and the rear window with a 12% tint on them. well sadly in order for my car to pass inspection i had to remove the tints . but i really liked my tints while they were on and they were one of the most complemented things about my car so im planning on getting re-tinted. the parents are making me do it leagally this time so in accordance to north carolinas laws it looks like what ill be getting is something around a 32-35% tint. and i would like to see pics of anyone that has a tint like this and what you think of it. also 35% seems like it would almost look like something from the factory and like i had no tint at all. so also for the people that have these tints: is it dark enough for you? and the main question is are you happy with it?

a few of my friends have 20% police. It depends how strict cops are about it in your area.

It sounds like some of you are confused.... the lower % the darker the tints are.
20% tints are darker than 35% tints

 

dont go dark, go stooped dark. I got 5% and a 20% on the windshield, you couldnt see inside if had nightvision. And all that is with a tan interior. 20% is what is on the back of SUVs
