So he is not asking to match his HIDs. He doesn't want to see the blue bulbs during the day.
BTW: good luck trying to find a bulb that will match HIDs

U can 'match' the color...

I did it with S25 Super White Champs color bulbs (lower inner half of the bulb = mirror, top = blue).

how about you just go with amber bulbs, they look the best, and you do not have the risk of getting pulled over.

i used to have polargs in the corners, but didnt like the look of blue shining through. i bought some of these silver coated mtec bulbs off ebay. i think they are almost as bright as the polargs, and i like the color they give off better. and best of all, you cant see them during the day. heres the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2464560745

I have the 19 bulb led. They are not as bright as regular bulbs. You could always rewire the corner lights to make them brighter or go with the 30 bulb led.The light has a purple tint to it.I also have the led wedge bulbs in my bumper lights.I like them better then regular blue tinted bulbs and you don't see the blue bulbs when the lights are off

Use a very light coating of high-temp silver paint. This is what i did with my flashers and there's no ugly orange reflections in them, but still flashes amber. Check my webpage for pics of the clear corners.

I'm with whoever it was who said to use amber bulbs. Looks good, you can match front/side lights to each other (minus headlights and fogs), and amber front lights are 50 state legal.

happyricefob is right about clear corners being illegal. It is not the fact that the lens is clear or the color of the bulb that necessarily makes it illegal (although your state law may dictate that it is illegal). Our clear corners violate U.S. federal regulations requiring amber reflectors on the front sides. I have not seen clear corners for our cars with amber side reflectors.
Having said that, I don't know of any cops who either 1) know about the federal regulation, or 2) would actually enforce it (or know how to enforce it).

Did you do the corner light re-wire to make the superwhite lights shine brighter? I couldn't imagin anything being more brite then those, They light up the whole +180 degress infront.

bigtimber, what to you think of them compared to the stock headlight? Are they about the same color? Also are they brighter than stock corners?

I think your right. Nobody seems to know what he is talking about.

I think he means the corner lamp right next to the headlight. And ppl here have him cornfused with the turn signal on the bumper. Anyways as soon as I saw this thread i knew exactly what he is talking about cause i can see the blue in my car 's corner lense. Simply painting the bulb head silver will resolve your problem like some of the ppl already said in this thread.

Let me know if im on the right track with this.

I just went out and put the plain white bulbs in the corners after clipping the nub "mod". They are a ton brighter. They may even match if I got those Mtec blue bulbs. I havent had any in there up to date b/c non matched and it looked alot cleaner w/out any in there. Or I may jus get some 1156 Orange bulbs to put in there. Maybe even Mtec orange bulbs, if the make 'em
