I re-wired my fog lights, they work, but when i turn them on my rear defrost button turns on. I am pretty sure I wired them to the winshield wipers.

Windshield wipers? why did you do that? I would bet that is on the same circuit as the rear defrost. You're supposed to wire them to the relay for the parking/clearance lights. That way, when you turn on your parking lights (1 click), you give the fog light relay power and the fogs turn on. Since the parking lights are on when you turn on the high beams, this means your fogs are still on then too, which is presumably what you want. I suggest you reconsider your wiring!

 

weird.. i wired to sumthin not sure dont remember but i have them bascially as daytime driving lights and the abiltiy to shut off.. i like it..

isnt it if u wire it to ur wipers they go off when u use the wipers..??
