Suspension setup

Hey guys, I have never paid any attention to the shocks, so I an a noob when it comes to that.
My stock ones are getting pretty bad, it is time for a change, so I thought might as well go for a little extra.
What setup do you recommend (front and rear). I drive a lot, so I wouldn't be able to handle too stiff and rough of a ride. Something that handles good and is easy on the buttcheeks at the same time. Adjustable would be perfect, since I wanted to lower the max a bit anyways. Thankx for your help
