Tien S Tech

Anyone with this paired with Illuminas or AGXs? I will be driving over some pretty bumpy roads here in New England and I don't want them to bottom out at all without spending money on the motivational shocks. Also, how do they ride over smooth and bumpy roads?

Thanks.

i have the agx. tein with body kit is pretty easy to bottom out. otherwise just put the settings at 3/6 and you shouldn't really bottom out. i like the ride... stiff shocks and soft springs.. it can be a problem on overly bumpy roads though

I've got the tein's at my house and some illuminas in the mail. Can't wait to do the install. I'll post my thoughts after I'm done.

When you guys get them in post a thread about them because I'm very curious as to whether or not these springs are more for looks or that they'll actually perform.

mrnock you say they can be a problem on overly bumpy roads, is that with the AGX's set at a stiffer setting or just in general?

They are completely for looks, they don't leave enough suspension travel to handle well.

tein s tech? is this true even if you use the motivational rear mounts?
and will a camber kit be necessary w/ this drop?

i believe the stiffness is from the agx actually. these springs really are for looks mainly..

You'll still have very little front travel, something like .5-.75 inches. And you will most likely need a camber kit.
