The JDM Black Chrome Diamond Cut corner lights for the 4th gens are currently out of stock at CustomMaxima, but I'm thinking of ordering them when they get more in. Does anyone know the quality of these corners? And what does JDM stand for?

Here's the main question: I'm thinking of doing the DTM mod for my taillights. Does anyone know if the black chrome corners and DTM tails will match or clash? I'm thinking they won't match because these are chrome and the DTM is just black paint. Who knows though, it's really hard to say just by looking at online photos.

If they wouldn't match, I'd rather buy regular diamond cut corners and try to do the DTM black paint method on them. Would that be possible?

 

First off, the JDM black bumper lights are available on Ebay. Second off, even if you painted them and they didn't match, no one would notice.

I have CM JDM black chrome corners on my '95 Ruby Pearl. Sorry no pictures, but I love them, great look, good quality.

DTM mod is the red taillights or is that the blacked/smoked taillights? I can't keep all this straight I have red taillights, and I think it goes great.

I hate all the marketing bs ... calling everything JDM. The maxima's in Japan don't have the same style bumper, so those wouldn't come close to fitting.

 

DTM Tails are pretty sweet,

i think you should just buy regular DC's and paint them to match.....

 

Yeah, I was skeptical. I guess they'd claim these are "JDM-style" or something.
