I didn't tint these - they came tinted like that from Taiwan. They are 1-Piece Cefiro headlights with the "smoking" done at the factory.

How bout my foot in your a$$! hahahahahahaha Just kidding!

The install wasn't too hard to do. It was just working on the fitting the first headlight in, but once that was done, the 2nd headlight was a breeze! As far as the tinting, the actual lense it self isn't tinted. It's the none reflective parts that have the tint, and they create illusion that the entire light is tinted, which is awesome!

Dude....Izzy.....turn off the caps will ya!

Anyway, the install wasn't long, but budget a few hours at least to do the install. Be a great Saturday or Sunday project to do. There are still some minor fitment and cosmetic issues that you can't see in the pics that need to be resolved. We also need to wire up the city lights too, but other than that, it turned out great and look awesome in person. The PIAA Xtreme Force H4's kick *** as well. Got a really nice HID look to them!

Actually, the term "smoked" Cefiro headlights is a misnomer.

These are not tinted, it's all hard black plastic. - no actual "smoking".

Thanks everyone!

maximase86 is working on doing a real write-up for the Cefiro install. So bother him about install, not me.

Really, it was all simple logic -

test-fit
cut....
test-fit
cut....

etc....

They are $350 shipped straight from Taiwan. If you like em, you should buy them. I was very happy with my dealings with SYCEFIRO and you see the what they look like. Just awesome! They even arrived 3-4 days earlier than I was expecting them, so Ian and I were giddy schoolgirls for a whole week, anticipating installing them!!!

To everyone who are looking for write up on the install. I will have something in about couple days. If you are interested, feel free to send me a PM so I can add you to the list of people I will give the write up to first before making them public on the .org.

d_warner: Yeah, his car is pretty similar to yours. Though the lights go well with the car. Especially since it is also boosted as well.

maxlinegtr: Funny thing you should mention slowing down. Ian has tried slowing down many times....but he seems to get back into full force soon after! To stop modding is like to quit smoking!!!! Have to do it like seven times before you wing it!

cscm094: Yeah, the amber bulbs look better. We tried out the super white bulbs Ian had in his old corners.....it didn't look so good....not bad...but a little on the ricey side. Ambers are definately the way to go. A touch of class while kicking a$$.

happyricefob: I think Ian has considered doing the stillen lip, but wait till you come to Seattle. Got some of the worst roads and driveways. That stillen lip would get ripped to shreads...and that's just getting out of his garage! But I agree, the stillen lip would make the car look really sick!

Yep - probably not doing the lip - it would be toast in a matter of weeks here.

Also, I don't like the look of just the lip. If I do ever do it, it will have to be the whole kit.

maximase86 - I fixed my post before you posted. We must have been typing at the same time.

Can you post pics of how the corners met the fender? It's not a clean fit, right? How much gap did you end up with?

Where the corners are, do you have a little gap? If not I think the 95/96 fenders are slightly different then the 97-99 because I almost have mine installed but it looks like there will be a small gap on the side.

They were not ripped apart - they came like that from the factory.

That's the 3rd or 4th time I've said that in this thread - please read above.

Anyway - Here are HIGH RES pics: (warning 56k users)

Damn that looks sweet, normal cefiros don't look that good but they are still good. Either way cefiros are good!!! LOL It sucks they don't match the maxima lines a little bit but I'm willing to live with that!!!

It doesn't matter what year the maxima is, unless you are driving an I30 you will have those gaps. They are small and some weatherstrip fixes it. Also the lights don't match the contours of the bumper but you have to look really close.
