It doesn't matter what year the maxima is, unless you are driving an I30 you will have those gaps. They are small and some weatherstrip fixes it. Also the lights don't match the contours of the bumper but you have to look really close.
I think these, being smoked on the edges and making the weatherstripping invisible, match the lines of the car beautifully.

I guess that's a matter of opinion more than anything - they look gorgeous in real life.

SAAAAAWEEEEEEEEEEET. man i wish i had money in my mod budget for headlights like that. actually i wish i had money in my mod budget at all.

best thing about that mod is that not many people have it at all. usually "unique" mods are UGLY mods but not this one. way to go man. now i got a reason to get married!

very very nice!!!

some questions:

1) do you have a gap where the old corners went?
2) what bulbs are you using for the corners?
3) did you have to hard-wire the new corner or did you find a bracket/clip to wire the light?

thanks!

I see that you didn't wire-up the Small 194 Wedge Bulb inside the headlight Housing? Why? It'd look better when you turn on the Parking Lights.

All you needed to do is to run the wires and splice them to the Side markers on your side Clear bumper lenses.

1) See earlier in this thread
2) 1157 Ambers - generic because we couldn't find any Sylvanias that day.
3) Stock US Maxima harness with slight exacto-knife modification to the little nubs around the bulb hole.

I plan on it - it was starting to get dark however and we wanted to go show them off to our friends.

Probably I'll splice that in later this week.

1) See photo

2) 1156 or 1157 depending on what you like. But most people just modify the stock one's to fit in the headlight corners

3) Utilizing the Stock Corner lights.

Well, I decided to get Ian and his fiance seperate gifts. I went and got the cefiro's for him....but I think I may have skimped out a little on his fiance gift....which was a belgium waffle maker. All I can say is I should probably anticipate an a$$kicking! Me--> <--Ian's Fiance

From the looks of this shot it looks like the aftermarket headlight's beam pattern is not even close to the beam pattern you get with the Nissan Factory Cefiro headlights with "Nissan" embossed in the lens. It looks blotchy and doesn't have a defined e-code type flare. Then again it might be because the car was parked close to the wall?

Is it possible if you can get a nighttime shot of the beam pattern on a flat white wall with the car parked 20-25ft away for a better look at the pattern?

There is the link with a bunch of pics including some close up shots.

Again, I will point out to you guys, the lights came from the factory black. We did not crack them open and paint them!

Instructions should be ready by tommorrow.
