Courtesy only carries the metal lux. Avalon racing only carry Stillen or P(something something). I've also checked more than several online parts stores. What up!?!?!?

Any of you guys know where, and the cheapest place?

Thanks.

Well I just called the 800 number and the girl at Olympic Brakes says that they don't make the Axxis Metal Masters for the 4th gen yet, all they have is the Metal Lux. What's up with that, I thought a bunch of you guys had them?

The metal masters are not made for the fourth gen, but according to (I think) bill99gxe the third gen pads are nearly the same as the fourth gen pads, and they can be used on a fourth gen.

So where did you get them? Awh, it doesnt' matter anyway, I just ordered the Proterfield R4S pads 10 minutes ago. I'm looking for superior braking performance and minimal rotor wear for street and autocrossing. I really don't care much if the pads don't last forever.

FWIW, the search engine here saved me $20. Porterfield gives a discount to Maxima.org members.

I don't remember the name of the shop. Its a couple of block from my job. I can find out the number if you like? They specialize in brakes. I paid $72.80 for both fronts and back.

I got mine from Phuong. Great price too. Very good stopping power, I'm very satisfied. I heard Porterfield is really good too, but heard that there's more brake dusts than the ones I got.

So Phuong sells the MetalMasters for the 4th gen??? Is that what you have and not the metal lux? I've heard the same thing as far as them not making them for the 4th gen. Let me know if Phuong sells the Axxis MetalMasters for the 4th gen and I shall order.

Just look at the model numbers. Phoung's numbers are the same as the numbers at www.forparts.com

They DO NOT make metal masters for the fourth gen!! BUT supposedily the Third gen brakes are the same.

Oh and the prices at Olympic (www.forpats.com) are cheaper. I ordered my brakes from them and I save money and I received them the next day, but I live on the east coast.

Well, I sent Phuong an email about the Metal Masters pads. I found out I do have Metal Masters, but only in the rear, and have Metal Lux in the front. He told me it's basically the same thing. He said that there are no Metal Masters for the front for 4th gen.; only 3rd gen., but the 3rd gen. ones should fit the 4th gen. with no problems. Hm...
