eBay Cat no place for o2

I just bought an eBay cat converter thinkin I was all cool saving money, only to find that there is no place for the O2 like on the OEM unit. Just wondering if the Carsound, or other good quality cats have a place for it. I'm also wondering if it will be ok if I get an exhaust shop to make a place for the O2 post cat. A friend of mine said that would give me a CEL all the time.

I'm looking at test pipes, and other cats too right now, and I'm wondering if any of these have a place for the O2. If you have one, does your aftermarket cat have a place for the O2? Thanks!

95/96 Maximas have the o2 sensor in the cat...97-99 have the sensor aft of the cat.

Just have a muffler shop make a hole for the sensor.

if you have a 95-96, it's okay to move the hole for the last o2 sensor jus after the cat in the b pipe correct? (that's if you get a cat w/ no o2 sensor hole)

I suppose you definitely could...but it would be easier to get a muffler shop to just put a hole in your new cat than to dismantle the b-pipe just to put an o2 sensor hole in there.

Cool... that's good to know, thanks.

I'm going to do the whole cat back anyway. I'd rather not put a hole in the new cat.
