Catback install problems

I just installed my catback but i ran into one tiny problem....basically the exhaust tip is too high and it is touching my bumper. Is there any way to fix this?

Great, thanks for all your help
I love it how I offer my help to other people, and offered the FSM for FREE to people but no one likes to help me in ANY of my posts. Makes me think if helping others with their problems is really worth my effort

Don't get discouraged. There are lots of people here willing to help you. I would try to use hose claps to extend the hangers so that the muffler will hang a little lower which should keep the tip from hitting the bumper. It's cheap and won't look bad cause no one will see it. Otherwise, you can take it to a muffler shop like aspec0002 stated, so they can weld it to correctly fit. Hope this helps.

Chill out, Bro.

You might be able to take it to a muffler shop and they just heat up the current hangers and bend them into the right spot. This might do the trick. I had kind of the opposite problem, mine was too low when I put it on. He heated the hangers and pushed it up as far as he could....helped a little. Try that maybe. I don't know about the whole larger hangers stuff, because I have never tried that.

Thanks all. I fixed it today....basically i tightened the b-pipe bolts too early when installing so the b-pipe was leaning to the right which put pressure on the muffler to go up. Everything is fine and it couldn't fit any better than it is right now.
