Just installed lots of toys and =D and some things that suprised me

I just installed a Frankencar intake, RSB, Y-pipe, Cosmo racing STS, and replaced the HU and all four speakers in the last month. Now I have a big grin on my face when I look down and notice that I'm at 80mph all of a sudden!
Here are some things that suprised me (Order in which they were installed):
Frankencar: How loud that thing is! Geez! Its like my whole engine is on the left side of the car! Minimal gains...

RSB: How easy it was to install! It only took like 30 minutes! The car handles better, not as drastic as people have said, but its definitely more crisp.

Y-pipe: 1) How easy the bolts to the cat were to get off. Lots of people complained about how bad they were, but I didn't have a problem with them. 2) How extremely difficult it was for me to get the O2 sensors off. I've already done the one on the cat, and thought these would be a sinch. WRONG! I had to go out and buy the special O2 socket. 3) How much of a difference it made... after I reset the ECU. I just wanted to see if the computer would respond to the change in y-pipe. After I reset the ECU, and drove it... wow!

Cosmo STS: Suprised by the fact that its really a decent shifter, especially for eBay. A little notchy and stiff, but nice to not be "rowing a boat". Also supprised at the fact that I had to "modify" the heat shield above the cat (the new shifter doesn't clear it).

HU and Speakers: How much a pain in the *** this is! But only because I didn't know that I had to run new wires. It was a good learning experience. Now I have tunes and no stupid Bose... and there was much rejoicing, yay.

Thanks for reading.

lol, yeah... have to set a buget so I don't do everything at once, and go into red ink. I did the intake in January, RSB and y-pipe mid Feb, and STS and stereo this week.

You don't have to reset the ECU after the y-pipe install. It will adjust after ~500-1000KM of driving.

I got the instructions off of the warpspeed webpage, and they say to reset the ecu.

Nice with the mods.
I will be doing the same soon. It will still be about another three or four weeks, though, and then it is modding season. I am still collecting as we speak.

hehe, how's that arm? btw, do you still have the 5th gen muffler? I've been at odds between that and a dynomax super turbo.
