Agreed. Those aren't bad prices as MSRP is $89f/$69r. You probably don't want the R4E's. Those are an edurance race compound and probably wouldn't even work on the street.

UPDATE: Before you waste $$ on these pads.

Hello. all. In march i got help from many & purchased a set just directly from Porterfield Direct.

I got em. & w, no shims at all. so i called em.. oh use ur stock shims itll be fine. really? yeah itll be ok or just try using no shims.. should work just fine he said.

Yeah right i thought, (yes ive done brakes before too).

So here we are 6 months Later.
The New Brembo Rotors from Tirerack.com are ruined.... -115.00 ty porterfield.
The New Porterfield Pads from them direct. -100.00 ty again Porterfield.

The rotors have a Huge gash/line bout 1/8 deep in the rotor.. too big to turn down..

I checked the pads very well and nothing is sticking out to make this.. just crappy pads.. There are perfectly flat on the pad but make the most horrific Grinding, squealing, tearing, and metal shaving sound ever when i stop..

I actually get people asking me wtf is wrong with ur brakes.. But all i can reply with is.. "hey there new pads & rotors.... 100 dolla pads actually, Porterfield brakes suck ***"

SO>> I wouldnt buy em unless you see em and see the shims..
I cant believe i bought Junk off the internet again and lost my a$$.. Anyone else have constant bad luck with there maxima.. ha
