What pads did you guys use? I can't decide between Porterfield R4S and Axxis Metal Masters pads...

May I have opinions/suggestions please (pros/cons, which performs better, etc.)? Thanks in advance.

Axxis Metal Master advantage: Low Dusting, good real-world performance

Porterfield advantage: "boat anchor" stopping power, MAJOR dusting

Both need to warm up a couple of times before Max performance, the Porterfields a little more than Axxis pads.

My friend uses Porterfield pads in his racecar (SCCA Class ITA). He hasn't had any brake fade or wear problems that we have experienced with the stock pads. We use the mid temp Porterfield pads. I believe that these are one grade higher than I would ever use on the street because they take some time to warm up and reach maximum strength.
