got a dremel? take a cutting disc and make a cut on the top of the head and use a flathead screwdriver

hmm were you using a screwdriver or a socket? the best way to remove them is with a deep socket. I think is a 10mm

i was using screw driver. i dont have a socket. how come the screw didnt wanna turn ONE BIT ?

god i knew intake installation wasnt something my n00b a$$ could do, im so stupid

That pic is a bit small, so I can barely tell what it is. If it was holding the stock airbox, I wouldn't worry about it since the box isn't there anymore, unless it has the capability to pop out while you're driving.

ugh...first thing you should get is a tool box with all the mm sockets and a wrench.

you will NOT be successful if you dont' have any sockets. you'll need those for a lot other other mods in the future.

I noticed that your injen runs to the side for the "true" CAI. Which injen intake did you get? All the others run down behind the radiator.

thats not a picture of my engine bay. my injen sits behind radiator too
