ECU code 05 05 help

a week after replacing my knock sensor and resetting the ECU, the CEL came back on again today. At first i thought it might be the knock sensor woes, but when i checked the code it was 05 05: everything's ok. so then how come my the CEL came on again? i'm confused

0505 is defined in the service manual as "replace engine immediately"

Do you have a CEL on? Well, The code 05 05, is a code saying to you everything is fine. When they designed the ECU they put that code in the ECU to show that everything is fine. When something is wrong the code changes. For example if you have a bad knock sensor the code changes from 05 05 to 03 04. I don't know why you keep resetting the ECU? There is no need to reset the ECU if you have the code 05 05 and the check engine light its not on.

0505 means everything is running fine. i just replaced my knock sensor and before it was 03 04 and now i get an 05 05 so the knock sensor did fix the problem
