i checked wut my engine like means and its code 0401 which is taht air temp sensor i put in a cai would that cause that to go off

 

Yes, you forgot to reconnect it. It's located on the stock intake piping. There should be a spot for it on your CAI. If not, you'll have to rig up something to get that sensor near the air intake so it can measure the intake air temperature.
