Best Clear Corners?

A lot of sites sell diamond-cut clear corners. I do not know if they all have the same source (i.e., one company is making these and selling them to each distributor) or if they each make their own. Does anybody know? And I'd like to hear some testimonials. E.g., X's diamond-cut clears are very high quality and look great, or Y's suck @$$.

The MaxMods site gives a list of the options. http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?MaximaClearCorners

I'm currently in the process of contacting each place to find out if their clears include the bulbs (amber) or not. Procarparts has the cheapest price but they don't include bulbs. I'll update MaxMods when I find out more.

On a related note, has anyone experimented with putting in brighter/more vivid amber bulbs? I don't want hyperwhites, just good-looking amber or orange bulbs. The bulbs that come with the corners may not be the best-looking amber bulbs. Thoughts?

I bought the 'euro clear corners' off ebay, for about 30 shipped, and they include bulbs. Make sure you get these, and not the regular clears, there is a big difference.

get diamond cut clear corners.

for bulbs, here's how i see it:

1. hyperwhite bulbs: ricer style
2. amber/orange bulbs: jdm style

either way it'll work. clear corners are just clear corners.

I think the only poor quality ones are those made by APC, all the others are probalby produced in the same factory in japan.

i had both APC bulbs and RAYBRIG bulbs. RAYBRIG turned out to be 2X brighter than cheap quality APC bulbs. RAYBRIG bulbs are JDM, quality is A++. i recommend RAYBRIG.

polargs are nice too, but RAYBRIG is still brighter. (did a comparison at import shop 0wner's wrx).

Yeah, Nick got the regular clears....not diamond cut or euro.

www.custommaxima.com has some of the best ones that I have seen. They do don't with bulbs, but they are orange. IMO, I don't like the orange, which is why I got rid of the lenses that were in fact, orange. I got amber bulbs from NAPA(they show up more yellow like the tail light blinker). It looks really good.

Look at my homepage and go to the second page. It has the custom maxima ones on there. I think they were like $45 or something. They are worth it though. Seem to fit nice and be pretty good quality. Have not leaked in almost a year.

CustomMaxima doesn't make their own clear corners, nor does any other distributer...whether ebay, redlinemax or procarparts they are all the same. They all come from the same factory in Taiwan...not sure about the APCs tho

I didn't know that. I just know that the ones that custommaxima sells are nice looking diamond clears. I have seen some others that people got off of ebay that were not quite as good of a match to the OEM corner light and headlight .
