Ok ive decide not to go with coilovers thanks to the help of people from my last thread. But i still want a bigger drop, can i use my gr-2's with sprints or dropzone springs, they are both 2" drop. I dont realy feel like sprending the money and i see lots of people have gr-2's with a big drop.

Any suggestions?

i've had my gr-2's with sprints since winter of '02

i don't like the ride, but the performance is still there... kinda.

i would personally go with H&R's. I might get some of those and sell my Sprints to get a bit more life out of the gr2's.

i have had gr2s on my sprints for a month now . dont mind the ride it a bit bumpy but i like the handling i get from it. i know the gr2s will blow pretty soon so i will just upgrade to the agx when ever they blow. i have spoken with redmax95 and he has gr2 one sprints for 3 years now and he says the gr2s are still runnin strong with no problems.

in how long do you think they will blow??

I see people that have them for 1+ years, i wont mind if they bow in a year or so, i just dotn want them to go within a month.

And how much do H&r's drop, Is there anything inbetween maxspeeds and sprints??

GR-2's with sprint
I have had GR-2's with sprints since about October and the ride is rough on bumpy roads, but on highway driving it is very tolerable. I also know that they will blow shortly and will have to replace them, but money wise...that was the best option for me at the time.

It depends on the roads. People who drive 8 miles a day on smooth roads are gonna have the GR2's last for a while. But if you have alot of bumpy roads or drive alot, spend the money on AGX's. The stiffer strut will hold off better and give you a bit of a better ride. I have GR2's and B&G springs, they're a soft spring so the ride is bearable and the drop is really sweet. Here in NYC the streets are horrible, so I bottom out all the time. They're not gonna last long, but for the price I got them, I couldnt say no. Its really on you. You want to spend money and time putting GR2's and risk blowing them in a few months and then having to replace them with AGX's? Or you might get lucky and they'll last a while.

I have had sprints and gr2's for 13 mos now ,and the ride is a little bumpy but god is it so worth it,i have thought about taking them off a few times but then i walk out of a store or work or someplace and see my baby looking so nice and i just cant bring myslef to do it ,if i do change anything it will be to upgrade to agx's if i had it to do over that is what i would go with. Here is a quick shot of me and my buddy jarrod his car and mine are on sprints and gr2's

Look into Intrax springs, I really think that they give the best drop.

B&G's are 1.6" drop all around... Your gonna have a stiff ride no matter what springs you go with.

Well guess what? I was changing my rear pads and after 2 weeks of riding on B&G's and GR 2's, I noticed fluid leaking from my right rear strut. GR 2's are not made for lowering springs. Do it right the first time and get AGX's... dont be like me

I just got AGX not to long ago, and still after having my Tocikos with Intax the ride is not that great, but don't get me wrong it's like day and night.
