all clear tails for 95/96...how much would you pay???

first off I have a 98 so this is not for me...but i know many want them...

all you 95/96 maxes....

i have someone that would be willing to give you all clears for 95/96 .... this would not include the painted part.... it would just be all clear & you'd have to paint it yourself...it would only include the outer tails....

before you say "no one makes them anymore" . . . this is someone that would be willling to do it from overseas... He does not mass produce them or anything but he's willing to . . .. oh forget it.... i just need to know how many people would be interested...

the cost would be around $200 shipped to your door...depending on the amount of people interested....

if there's interest, and he's willing to give them to us...i will post details & i would get one pair myself and check the quality and fitment....

i'm not asking anyone for money or anything...just want to see who'd be willing to pay $200 for all clears....

let me know...

Sam

now to take it easier a bit...

you guys know that NO ONE makes these in the united states...I see threads all the time asking about stillen.com and the all clears posted on their website... they go for $275 if i remember correctly and they're NOT even IN STOCK.... you can't get them anywhere...

$200 for tails that have to be shipped from Europe to your house is really not much...especially considering that the guy has to actually make the first set of tails and test them ...
he's a supplier for many many european cars & among his many cars he has, he also owns a 99 "american style" maxima.... the outers on 95/96 and 99 are the same.... therefore he was willing to do a set and test the fitment on his maxima... he has the original tails on his so that's where he gets the design from. . . .
i could probably only get 50-100 people tops (or at least i thought so) . . . so to produce this for us is actually so many hours to get it done that it's not even worth it...but he was/is willing to do it. . .

but from the responses in this thread i don't think it's going to happen though...

what would make this a sweet deal is if there was a way to recieve the tails with the lens off and have the the adhesive, so after we got them we could paint the interior of the lens and seal them back up. I passed on the last Ebay "clear tail light" auction because I don't want to have to take the tailight apart paint the interior of the lens and reassemble. Just an idea...
