Ground Clearance

About how much ground clearance would I get if I were to lower about 1.5 and throw on a stillen front lip? You can give an estimate, I don't need it down to the centimeter...

Man, I hate hills and stuff. I am worried about scrapping now, but I really don't like the look of my max without a lip... And I don't like the 4x4 look. So I am going to drop it and put a kit on. Definately stillen!

But, what does everyone do about ground clearance? Should I get bags? I don't want to pend that $1000 or $2000, but I don't want to scrap it?

What does everyone else do?...

about 6-7 inches for you im guessing

my rule is as long as you can fit a soda can under the car then its ok. soda cans are about 5 inches tall.
anything lower then I have a hard time in some areas because our city wont repair the old parts of town. they rather build parking lots all over....

You will need to take special care over dips and entrances if you have any kind of lip. The maxima is more difficult because it has a long nose. Everything should be taken at an angle.

I actually just wrote an article about how to drive lowered:

Excellent Article... I'm planning on staying out of a few places even with that tecnique. Sometimes, where you want to go is off a 4 lane highway in traffic on the opposite side of the street and a 7 foot wide entrance that has a 45* onramp and you only got a few seconds to get in. But it's not that big of a loss... I'll sacrifice that and get me a lowered max! Thanks again!
