Urgent... How do I recalibrate needles in dash?

So today I installed reverse gauges everything went fine but the needles stuck so I thought that sanding the back sides would do the trick. But after I reinstalled now my tachometer dosnt move unless I floor the gas down it goes up to like 300rpm. So Im thinking maybe the needles need to be calibrated again. The temp, gas, and mph work. Anyone have any instructions on how to fix or if the needle is just premanently damaged? Thanks

Make sure the guage face is COMPLETLY FLAT--If it is not, the needle WILL STICK.
Do you remember what your idle was when your engine was warm? If so, let engine war up and then put hte needle on where it should at(idle RPMs)

I should move it to where it would normally idle warm when the dash is on, or off?

Can you move the needle freely with your finger?

You shouldn't need to recalibrate the needles if all you did was install the gauges and did not touch the needles.

If you did it this way, you don't need to recalibrate your needles, you only need to make sure the face is flat.

If you did it this way, and you did not mark down the calibration points ... you're kinda screwed.
